Mighty Ra, the effeminate boy lover?

Have you seen this Cat depicted above? Never saw him before, ain't seen him since the early 90s. Last I saw him, his character was being blown up in the absolute worst, most racist, incredibly offending "sci-fi" piece known to a Necca. I mean the ancestor's depiction of Mighty Ra, Back Breaker of the Foul, Destroyer of the Wicked a boy lover straight outta The Crying Game? My brother apologized for taking me to see this. (I had been in spiritual training not watching t.v. or paying attention to the world so I didn't know anything about this idiocy.--fuck this shit!!!! I screamed almost every time I saw this B I in the movie.)Would they take Jesus and put him on his knees in a circle of bare chested men who were rolling their eyes while we could only see their arms moving? Would they present Hercules like this? Thor like this? And ancient Kamitian theosophy came from the beyond? Because ancient black people certainly could not have founded the religion all others and I mean all others are based upon? It fit right in with discrediting the finding that Eve was black and from the Nile (remember that Time article and front cover. It was the talk of the early 90s when this movie came out.) Nothing in the study of the Egyptian Spiritual culture would up hold anything about this soft-effeminate treatment of The Back Breaker of The Foul, Destroyer of the Wicked, The Enforcer of Justice, and The Strongest of the Gods. Since then there have been many Gods on the series Stargate SG-1 which is based upon this Stargate movie, but this "God" Ra, remains the lone pedophile and lone black one. This movie is nothing but a reinforcement statement that the man who calls himself white will stop at nothing to discredit black truth in the past and present using both as well as the future. His imagination is used to keep us enslaved at every opportunity hence it is the banner figure and reminder of black enslavement efforts in the sci-fi and fantasy war on the black psyche. You see this Cat, tell him I'm callin' him a mutha fu__in' slave for this role.

The Future is a dangerous thing

The vision of a white male does not include black human beings. Instead blacks are usually stereotypical space niggas-big black bucks and wenches. This place is dedicated to revealing that fact. Take Teal 'c of Sci-fi's SG-1. He is big, black, muscular, independent and intelligent. A real man, except he's an alien. If he were human, he wouldn't be in the series. Hell he wouldn't even be on t.v. for long. (Captain Cisco, where are you? I could even take the other characters questioning your leadership unendingly now.) Take Ronan and Taylor of SG Atlantis, cookie cut from the same mold as Teal'c. Such stereotypes. But of course they must always genuflect and defer to their white massa--I mean team leader, captain or base commander.

And then there is the archetype of white sci-fi imagination, Uhuru. Her name means freedom in Kiswahili. But she never exhibited any. Created during the racist hot bed of the 60s, hers was among the shortest skirts of television and biggest breast-cleavage ratio going. She stood on the bridge and looked pretty for Kirk while flashing her famous legs occasionally.(Remember the pseudo strip tease in The last frontier movie--it proved their sexual fascination with her.) A piece of meat was all she ever was.

But let us not forget the foundation of the image of the future black humanoid. The original Klingons who were white folks in black face who could not control their emotions.(white folks only because they refused to pay niggas like they refused to pay Native Americans during that era to play themselves.) They were savages, pure muscle, and the absolute 'Iggas of the galaxy.

I really don't know what did this brother in. Was it the too many Iggas on one show rule? (There was Taylor and there was gonna be Ronan, so there couldn't Ford.) There was some real promise with this Cat. Real promise. He was fierce, independent strong. He fought with his white superiors about their stupidity. The writing was on the wall when I saw him fight the great captain. When it was over I knew he was. When they decided to kiss this Igga goodbye, his character was dumb enough to turn himself in to an alien. That was some dumb Igga shiii ___if I ever saw it. All muscle, no brains in space or in the future. The Sci Fi Igga rule in action.

Lando Clarrisian (Billy Hows-My-Hair- Dee) was the only other black Cat in the flick and what was his past? He couldn't be a thug, they had that stereotypical black man covered. Ah ex-con (artist) who ran a shady business. That speaks for itself and needs no enlsavement analysis. Billy-Hows My Hair Dee shoulda known better, but then again he is a walking Slaveploitation--after you've sold beer in the black community you should be branded Mutha fu___kin' slave. But I just can't. After all that might revive his career. Interestingly Bobo (the bounty hunter but they would not have been mad if you were thinking he was a clown.) dressed in very white male white and silver of the heroic Jedi, but was black on the inside---note the face mask. Within this evil bounty hunter man was the truth--dark as darth. Some ole slaver shii......if the Cat writing this blog had ever seen some....

Capain Cisco

There is a wonderful scifi adage that says when a nigga's the captain he gets none. No respect, no woman, womans. No honor, no glory. Basically he gets treated like an Igga and none. He was ineffectual and impudent as a captain, serving as little more than a foil for the alien woman who co-ran the station--who just happened to be white. Think about it. Space and it's many stars and its vast void, the one black captain and he don't get to go no where. He's stuck on Deep Space Nine in one place. Every white captain was a Super-Man, this Igga was water boy to Bejorian Super Chick and little more. Later episodes tried to remedy that whole ineffectual, impudent black captain thing as they tried to turn him into an alien chosen prophet. By then it was too little too late. Why was he the captain in the second place? I think it was because it was he was The Man Called Hawk in the first place. He was a big black intelligent beast on that show before this one. It was in their best interest to neuter him before the community. But remember he started t.v. as a Tonto side kick to Robert Urich's Spencer for Hire.

Does this even need words, if you've ever watched the show? And there's that one steamy kiss which was historic for t.v. in the 60s between her and captain Horatio Hornblower, I mean Kirk. It was coming because it had to. And don't forget that strip tease in the movie--the Final Frontier. Only Kirk's Bottom Bitch coulda pulled it off.(with all due respect if you act like a bottom hoe you at least get the recognition for it. There when he was kissing and ho' in every last race of green, purple or yellow persuasion. (every thing but black on purpose.) She waited for her one chance to kiss Massa Captain. And her beautiful strip tease. She is the Bottom Hoe of the galaxy with great pride we name her character slave.

This show Cosmic Slop got one run on cable. It was the single most breath taking black sci fi piece I had ever seen. A Hudlin Brothers thing, airing in the early 90s, one short story alone left me speechless. A conservative African American politician must choose between his people's survival and appeasing his white colleagues when space aliens propose to share their profound knowledge in exchange for all black people on earth-- in other words a house nigga had to decide whether sell out all the bucks and black wenches on the planet to be they bestest darkie by helping to solve all the world's problems. When he decided not to(but not before they rounded everyone up.) White folks got all the Niggas in a bunch and waited to be blessed by the aliens. It was off de chain. And never saw the light a day since. You can watch Lt. Johnson(the lone black on the first Star Trek other than Uhuru who goes to the surface and is killed in the first 5 mins) 100, 000 times. But cable may never run "Cosmic Slop" again.
